We want to share with you the orthodontic journey of our 12-year-old patient who just started high school. She is a friendly and lovely young lady who loves to talk in front of many people despite her crooked teeth. Her mom was so eager to fix her daughter’s teeth, and fortunately, a family friend recommended Central Coast Orthodontics to them.

During her initial examination, we noticed that her front teeth were crooked. We also noticed her upper front teeth overlapped her lower front teeth –– called an overbite, which requires immediate treatment to prevent teeth abrasion and jaw joint problems.

After having a thorough examination and discussion about her treatment options, our lovely patient wanted to have metal braces with colours to correct her crooked teeth.

After 18 months of orthodontic treatment, we were able to straighten her crooked teeth. In addition, we have corrected her overbite and gave her a proper and good bite. We didn’t just correct her teeth’s appearance but also gave her a healthy bite.
