CCO Patient Orthodontic Treatment in Gosford

We want to share with you another successful orthodontic journey of one of our patients.

This patient was only 12 years old when she came into our practice. She is a very shy student. Her mom consulted a general practitioner for her crooked teeth and was referred to Central Coast Orthodontics.

During the initial consultation, it appeared that her upper and lower canines were not in their ideal position. Her upper and lower jaw didn’t have enough space for the growing permanent canines, thus resulting in crooked teeth.

Her parents opted to have metal braces with colours to correct her crooked teeth.

The Result

After two years of wearing braces, she finally had the confidence to smile widely while showing off her straight smile. We were able to move her canines to their ideal position, which made her teeth alignment straight and gave her a great bite. 

Two years went by so fast, and she has grown from being a shy girl to the more confident young lady she is now!
