Orthodontic Treatment in Gosford

We want to share with you our previous patient’s orthodontic journey here in New South Wales. Our patient is a 26-year-old university student who studies science. He was concerned about his appearance, mainly because of his crooked teeth. As a student, he wanted to project himself professionally and be able to talk with confidence.

He consulted a general dentist and was referred to us. During his initial examination, we noticed that his lower jaw was more forward than the upper jaw, making his upper front teeth appear behind his lower front teeth.

Although it took him a long time to finally get his teeth fixed, he was very eager to start his treatment. For his smile transformation, we did a combination of braces and surgical orthodontics to correct his bite problems.

What Were The Issues With His Existing Teeth?

  • Crossbite
  • Class III Malocclusion (Lower jaw is more forward than the upper jaw)

What We Did for His Smile Makeover

The Result

After several visits over 18 months, we finally removed his braces. Together with surgical orthodontic treatment, we were able to correct his bite problem and give him the smile he has always wanted.

We were happy that we finally fixed his long-standing dental problem. And he too was so ecstatic to smile and show off his perfectly aligned teeth. Now his teeth are one less thing to worry about while he studies. He can now talk and smile confidently in front of the class, or even to his friends!
