Braces in Terrigal

CCO Patient Orthodontic Treatment in Terrigal

We want to share with you the orthodontic journey of our patient from Terrigal.

She is a 16-year-old lovely student who was self-conscious about the appearance of her teeth. Her upper and lower front teeth were crooked. She also saw that some of her teeth were slightly tilted, which caused crowding.

Being a teenager, she was a bit self-conscious about her crooked teeth, so together with her parents, they consulted a dentist and eventually were referred to us.

During her initial consultation, we noticed mild to moderate crowding in her teeth. Aside from that, her top front teeth overlapped her lower front teeth, also known as a deep overbite. We also noticed that she had retained baby teeth that needed to be removed immediately.

After a thorough orthodontic examination and discussion about her treatment options, we gave her upper and Lower Braces with Elastics to correct her teeth alignment and bite problems. We also pulled out her retained baby teeth

The Result

After 12 months of braces, we were able to align and straighten her crooked teeth. We also corrected her bite which was previously a deep overbite.

She was so happy and pleased with the result. And as soon as she saw her newly improved look in the mirror, we saw how wide her smile was. Her smile makeover turned her into a more confident and happy young lady!
