We want to share with you the orthodontic journey of our 14-year old patient. She is an amazing and jolly girl studying in Gosford. Like every other girl of her age, she wanted to fix and straighten her crooked teeth to have confidence in smiling. Her old siblings were previous patients of Dr King and so she wanted to have the same straight smile they had after having orthodontic treatment.

Her parents decided to seek help in Central Coast Orthodontics. During her initial examination, we noticed that her teeth are slightly tilted causing her front teeth crooked. We also noticed that her canines are somehow not in their ideal position.

After having a thorough examination and discussion about her treatment options, we placed metal braces for 12 months to correct her malocclusion.

The Result

After 12 months, she was able to have the straight smile she has always wanted – just like her siblings. She was so happy and felt more confident in smiling with her aligned teeth.

Her upper front tooth that was previously crooked, was now perfectly aligned. Her canine that was somehow not on its ideal position, was now moved and placed to its respective position. We have not just corrected her teeth’s appearance, but we also help her gain back her self confidence.
