Patient of Ettalong Beach’s Braces Makeover

A student from Ettalong Beach was referred to Central Coast Orthodontics by her general dentist after noticing that a lower tooth was coming through in the wrong position. She was concerned about how it might affect the alignment of her smile and wanted to address the issue before it became more complex.

The main concern was a misaligned lower incisor, which had started to shift out of place and disrupt the balance of her bite. In addition, there was mild crowding in both arches, and she wanted to straighten her teeth overall.

To address this, our team recommended a treatment plan involving upper and lower braces. This approach would allow us to gently guide the lower incisor back into alignment and straighten the remaining teeth in both arches. To maintain the final result, we placed fixed retainer wires at the conclusion of treatment.
